Moss primarily absorbs water from the the air, but on summer days or in very dry conditions, it’s worth spray them with water. It’s important to keep it away from direct sunlight, as this can cause them to yellow. With proper care, the moss on your lamp can even last for decades.

The little mushrooms are crafted from PVC, by hand. Both the stems and caps are made from the same melted plastic. Except for the crest and spotted caps, everything is created freehand.

The lamps have a built-in battery switch, powered by either AA or CR2032 batteries. In each product description, you’ll find information on which battery holder is included.
A solar-powered version can also be made upon request, though in that case, the switch remains visible.

Each lamp can be ordered with a timer switch upon request. If you’d like the batteries to remain discreetly hidden, choose a model that originally uses a simple AA battery switch. You can find this information in the description below each lamp.

This primarily depends on the battery used; with certain batteries, the lamp can glow continuously for up to two months, while others may last only 1–2 days. The LED itself is promised to have a ‘lifetime’ by the manufacturer. If anything goes wrong, you can always bring it back for repair.

For any Gombalámpás with an AA battery holder, you can safely use rechargeable batteries. However, please ensure that the combined voltage of both batteries does not exceed 3V, as this could damage both the lamp and the batteries.

No, their stems are flexible at room temperature, and they can be gently shaped. In winter, you have to handle them more carefully, because they can easily freeze and become brittle in the cold, but they return to their original state above 20 degrees.

Yes, all bases are disinfected with ozone before starting working with them, making them free of fungi and parasites. I do not use chemicals, I use this environmentally friendly solution in the protection of the moss and you.

The switches are hidden in the lanterns. Their places in the tree are made at the bottom of the lanterns.

Please do not place outdoor the original lanterns. Basically, they are made for indoors, the upholstery and the battery holders can easily get wet. If you want to place your lantern outside, please indicate this when ordering. In this case, it will not have an upholstered base and I will place a waterproof switch on it.
